Before
spelling bees to me where just competitions for fun, people who where good at
spelling letter by letter and form eventually a word. After being in the middle
of spelling bee I realized it creates so much tension in the kids who
participate. I really can’t say that I’m in favor of this; this really can kill
someone because they had a heart attack. I think that stuff like this should be
only to have fun, and maybe it starts of like fun but then it becomes into a
kind of torture I could say. So if spelling bees are not making kids have a
good time then I think they shouldn’t happen.
4) Do you have a something in your life like the National Spelling Bee?
Nowadays in
my life I feel like the best comparison I could do with the spelling bee having
this in common but many things not is soccer. You play soccer because you like
it and nothing can change that or else you wouldn’t play. But when there comes
a time in a tournament or in a game where you go to penalties you put yourself
in a really nervous situation where you really have to make it for you and your team so its a pressure of everyone. This situation you have to be realy calm just
like people in the spelling bee are and it actually creates a lot of tension
because as the well as the spelling bee if you don’t make it then you’re out. But
off course in soccer you like don’t cry because you are afraid or things like
this that in the spelling bee does happen.
